Privacy Policy

TuckVault is made by Blueberry Web Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us"), Unit No. 304, 3rd Floor, Phase 1, South City Business Park, 770 Anandapur, Kolkata, West Bengal 700107, India. This policy explains what information the app and the website handle, why, and the choices you have. The short version: the contents of your vault stay on your device, and we never see them.

1. Your vault and your files

• Vault contents stay on your phone. Photos, videos and documents you add to the vault are encrypted with AES encryption by the app and stored only in the app's protected storage on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers, and we have no ability to view, access or recover them.
• Your PIN or pattern is not sent to us. It is used on the device to protect the vault. If you forget it, we cannot reset it or decrypt your files.
• Photo library and contacts access is requested only to show you duplicates, large files and repeated contacts, and to import files into the vault. This processing happens on the device. We do not transmit your photos, videos or contact details to our servers.
• Deleting the app deletes the vault. Export anything you want to keep before uninstalling.

2. Information we collect

The app collects a limited set of technical data, as declared on the App Store privacy label and the Google Play Data safety section:

• Identifiers — a device identifier and an anonymous user ID, used for analytics, to measure advertising, and to attribute installs from our own marketing.
• Purchase history — which subscription or one-time purchase you hold, so premium features unlock and so we can offer support. Payments themselves are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive your card details.
• Diagnostics — crash reports and performance data, so we can fix bugs.
• Usage events — which screens and features are used (for example "cleanup scan started"), without any file contents, file names, thumbnails or contact details.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, messages, browsing history, or the contents of your photos, videos, documents or contacts.

3. How we use it

• To operate the app, unlock purchased features and respond to support requests.
• To understand which features are used and fix crashes.
• To show advertising in the free version of the app and to measure our own advertising campaigns.

4. Who we share it with

We use third-party services that process the data above on our behalf, each under its own privacy policy:

• Apple App Store and Google Play — purchases and subscriptions.
• RevenueCat — subscription management (purchase status and an anonymous app user ID).
• Analytics and crash reporting providers (such as Firebase/Google Analytics and PostHog) — usage events and crash data.
• Advertising networks (such as Google AdMob and Meta) — to show ads in the free version and measure campaigns. On iOS, tracking across other companies' apps happens only if you allow it in the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

We do not sell your personal information. We disclose data only to these processors, when required by law, or to protect our rights.

5. Advertising and tracking choices

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking lets you deny tracking for TuckVault. Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising controls personalised ads.
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads lets you delete or reset your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation.
• Premium purchases remove advertising from the app.

6. The website (tuckvault.com)

• The free browser tools (image compressor, resizer, converter, metadata remover) run entirely in your browser. Files you load are never uploaded to us; closing the tab discards them.
• We use PostHog analytics on the website to count page views and understand which pages are useful. It records the pages you visit, your browser type and approximate region derived from your IP address, and whether you clicked an App Store or Google Play link. Where required, we use cookieless or consent-based tracking.
• Links to the App Store and Google Play take you to Apple's and Google's sites, which have their own policies.

7. Data retention

Analytics and diagnostic data are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted or aggregated. Purchase records are kept for as long as needed to honour your purchase and for accounting obligations. Vault contents are never held by us.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold your name or email, identify yourself in a request with the anonymous app user ID shown in the app's settings screen. Write to [email protected]; we respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Data deletion: uninstalling the app removes all vault contents and local data. To have analytics and purchase records tied to your device identifier deleted, email us with the subject line "Delete my data".

9. Children

TuckVault is not directed at children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Vault files are encrypted on the device. Data we do collect is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls at our providers. No system is perfectly secure; keep your device updated and your PIN or pattern private.

11. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States, the European Union and India. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

12. Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
